Job Description:

As a QA Engineer at Zepto, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services. You will collaborate with product managers and developers to understand features, write test cases, and prepare test environments. Your responsibilities will include performing manual testing, API testing, mobile app testing, and performance testing. You will track bugs using JIRA and work closely with the development team to resolve issues. Additionally, you will execute regression tests using automation tools and follow QA best practices and standards. You will also have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the features and present them to product managers and the team.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand features and write test cases

- Prepare test data and test environments

- Utilize tools such as Postman, ADB, Charles Proxy, and SQL for testing and debugging

- Track bugs using JIRA and raise concerns/issues in scrum meetings

- Work with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner

- Execute regression tests using automation tools (Jenkins) and provide sign-off post-production deployment

- Incorporate QA best practices, methodologies, and standards in all deliverables

- Gain a deep understanding of the features and take ownership of them

- Demo features to product managers and the team, and present them in technical talks

Requirements:

-2-4years of experience in functional testing

- Ability to understand and analyze requirements and create test plans

- Test case writing and management skills

- Expertise in Android and iOS app testing

- Good knowledge of HTTP, servers, and REST API

- Proficiency in writing SQL queries

- Troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA)

- Familiarity with testing tools for Android and iOS (e.g., Android Studio, Android SDK, Charles Proxy, ADB, Xcode, etc.)

- Knowledge of Linux, AWS, and Postman

- Experience working in agile teams and familiarity with agile methodologies

- Excellent communication skills
