Position: QA (Manual Tester)
Experience: Fresher to 6 months
Location: Indore (Work From Office) Only
Salary: Competitive and based on the current CTC (No bar for deserving candidates)
Job Description:
1. Perform manual testing: As a QA (Manual Tester), your primary responsibility will be to perform manual testing of software applications. You will be required to follow test cases, execute test scripts, and document test results to ensure the quality and functionality of the software.
2. Test planning and documentation: You will be involved in test planning activities, including creating test cases, test scenarios, and test data. You will also be responsible for documenting test plans, test scripts, and test reports to track testing progress and provide comprehensive test coverage.
3. Defect identification and reporting: During the testing process, you will identify defects, bugs, and issues in the software and report them in a clear and concise manner. You will collaborate with the development team to ensure proper defect resolution and track the status of reported issues.
4. Test execution and regression testing: You will execute test cases and test scripts to validate software functionality, verify bug fixes, and ensure system stability. Additionally, you will perform regression testing to ensure that software updates and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
5. Collaboration with cross-functional teams: As a QA (Manual Tester), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts. Effective communication and teamwork will be essential to understand project requirements, provide feedback, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process.
6. Continuous learning and improvement: You will stay updated with industry trends, testing methodologies, and best practices to continuously enhance your testing skills and contribute to the improvement of the QA process within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies
- Familiarity with software testing tools and bug tracking systems
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to changing priorities
