About the Job:


As a Senior Test Lead, you will be a part of the growing product development team and take ownership of testing plans, implementing and executing test cases. You will collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans, execute test cases (manual or automated), analyze results, evaluate product code, and ensure adherence to specifications. Your role will also involve reporting bugs and errors, troubleshooting issues, conducting post-release/post-implementation testing, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.


Responsibilities:


- Review and analyze system specifications

- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans

- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

- Evaluate product code according to specifications

- Create logs to document testing phases and defects

- Report bugs and errors to development teams

- Troubleshoot issues and conduct post-release/post-implementation testing

- Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

- Provide technical leadership in Quality Assurance Engineering for standalone/cloud-based APIs

- Deliver test suites for highly scalable and reliable business applications using the latest web technologies and cloud services

- Maintain existing web applications and services by implementing new features and fixing critical bugs

- Enhance QA and automation frameworks

- Build and automate end-to-end test scenarios

- Research, visualize, and interpret Big Data to meet business needs

- Act as a liaison between technical architects, developers, and non-technical personnel to translate business requirements into functional requirements

- Focus on quality delivery for product releases

- Provide technical leadership to a team of testers (onsite and offsite)

- Build a strong automation team


Requirements:


- Graduation degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer

- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role

- Experience in project management and QA methodology

- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus

- Strong technical knowledge in Google Sheets, MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint/Google Slides

- Experience in writing manual test cases

- Experience with any automation tool is an added advantage

- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

- Test plan and execution experience

- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., Jira, qTest, Zephyr) and SQL

- Excellent communication skills

- Attention to detail

- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

- Strong organizational skills
