Job Summary:

Acuity Software Technologies, a UK-based software company, is seeking a Quality Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience. We are looking for a self-motivated, creative, and proactive candidate with an analytical mind to work successfully in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for software testing design, planning, scripting, execution, and testing of Windows and Web applications. They will work closely with the software development team throughout the project. The individual should have a strong understanding of the QA lifecycle and methodology.

Responsibilities:

- Interact with project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.

- Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases.

- Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation functions.

- Participate in troubleshooting and trialling of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.

- Support production deployment of applications and perform validation testing during off-hours maintenance windows.

- Participate in the development of testing methodologies and strategies.

Desired Skills:

- At least 4 years of testing experience in manual and automated testing.

- Ability to analyze requirements and develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

- Experience in performing functional, stress, integration, and regression testing based on product release requirements.

- Familiarity with code coverage tools and concepts.

- Experience with bug tracking tools like Bugzilla, Jira, etc.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.

Qualifications:

- Candidates must have a B.Tech, BSc, or MSc degree, preferably in Computer Applications.
