Job Description:

Aarna Systems is seeking a passionate QA Tester with extensive experience in web application and mobile application testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of modern test methodologies, tools, and practices in the software testing field. Experience in unit and performance testing, as well as familiarity with Selenium and other testing tools like JMeter, is required. Knowledge of GIT and SQL is preferred. The candidate should also have experience in developing test frameworks and test cases using open source test frameworks. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.


Responsibilities:


- Work with web and mobile teams to develop test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.

- Operate in an agile software delivery methodology, focusing on testing new features within an iteration and providing immediate feedback to developers through test automation.

- Perform load/performance testing and exploratory testing as necessary.

- Contribute to and maintain the testing framework for various types of testing (functional, load/performance, security) on multiple platforms (web, iOS/Android).

- Effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Desired Skills:


- Minimum 1 year of web and mobile application testing experience.

- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

- Ability to think abstractly and handle ambiguous/undefined problems.

- Strong knowledge of modern test methodologies and commonly used concepts, practices, and tools in software testing.

- Experience with unit and performance testing.

- Experience with Selenium.

- Experience with other testing tools like JMeter.

- Experience with GIT (preferred).

- Experience with SQL.

- Experience in developing test frameworks and test cases using open source test frameworks (preferred).

- Proficiency in writing Shell, JavaScript, and Batch scripts for automation and development tools.

- Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
