Job Description:
Presto Automation Inc. is a public company specializing in voice recognition AI technology. They focus on applying this technology in the restaurant industry, particularly in drive-through and sit-down settings. Their products include voice recognition AI, computer vision cameras, and tabletop hardware. They are seeking a QA Engineer to join their hyper-growth team responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining high-performance applications. The role involves working with cutting-edge AI technologies and exposure to the full technical stack.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with test plans, scenarios, scripts, etc.
- Experience in testing devices is a plus.
- Proficiency with databases like SQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Ability to set up test environments and manage test data.
- Strong analysis skills for test cases and defect tracking.
- Understanding of REST, XML, HTTP, and JSON.
- Familiarity with Test Management tools like TestRail, JIRA, ALM, etc.
- Expertise in designing comprehensive test coverage across various testing types.
- Proven experience in testing hybrid/integrated environments (Web, APIs, Mobile).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python.
- Experience with test automation using Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of API testing using RestAssured, SOAPUI, Postman, etc.
- Exposure to Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) solutions.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical information.
- Strong understanding of Agile and QA methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and a quick learner.
- Self-driven and a team player.
- Enthusiasm for learning and working with new technologies.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance engineer.
- 3+ years of experience in writing test automation.
